About Chanelle

Chanelle, who has a rich history with music for grownups, made the shift to writing for kids after her song If I Was A Fuzzy Buzzy Bumblebee won the 2013 APRA New Zealand's Best Children's Song Award. By 2016 she had been on a few exciting adventures, including spending four weeks in Hawaii where she wrote The Little Green Turtle and decided it was time to make an album.

Chanelle & Friends: The Little Green Turtle and Other Songs for Kids! was produced in Te Awamutu and features long-time singer/songwriter friend Daniel Munro as well as other musician mates from around the world.

Chanelle recently finished her Album Party Tour where she travelled around New Zealand with Brierly Bee and a magical toadstool, cutting cake, singing and dancing with 2,000 people across 14 cities from Whangarei to Invercargill.

Chanelle’s songs are full of things children will love –animals, dancing, getting messy as well as unicorns and rainbows. Her magical songs are brought to life with interactive and fun performances that engage and entertain not just the kids – but parents too.
